Viv, the main character, has spent years as a mercenary, fighting and adventuring her way across the land. But she grows weary of the constant battles and decides to retire from her life of violence. Her dream? To open the first-ever coffee shop in the city of Thune, a place where no one has ever heard of coffee. With her last treasure in hand—a magical artifact known as the Scalvert’s Stone—Viv sets out to turn her dream into reality.

As Viv navigates the challenges of starting a business, she assembles a small team to help her. Cal, a taciturn and skilled carpenter, helps her build the shop, while Tandri, a succubus, becomes her barista and business partner.
